Bob Braham

Bob Braham is Vice President, Marketing for Enterprise Storage Division at EMC Corporation.In his role, Braham is responsible for driving messaging and positioning for ESD’s solutions. In this role Braham oversees campaign integration, product marketing and customer programs for the entire ESD portfolio including VPLEX, Symmetrix VMAX and VMAXe product lines.

Having held key marketing positions at several major technology companies, Braham recently joined EMC in April 2011 from Brocade, where he was the VP of product marketing for the entire company. Prior to his role at Brocade, he held executive marketing positions at Equinix, NetAPP, and Sun.

Braham holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and has served on the Boards at Thinking Media, SNP Communications and Mo-Dv.

He has been delivering, managing and developing Electronics, Computing and IT education for 30 years and is now heavily engaged in people transformation consulting projects supporting customers in realigning their organisations for Cloud based IT Service delivery. Simon has managed international Education and Training divisions in APAC, Europe and Africa for organisations including Xerox, Racal, Symantec, Data General and more recently 8 years at EMC.

Elie Simon

Elie joins Greenplum with over 25 years of leadership positions in computer systems, software, storage and RFID. Most recently, Elie was chairman of Insync Software and chairman and co-founder of Digiprice. Prior to this, Elie was the president and CEO of TAGSYS, the global leader in the design and development of RFID infrastructure for item-level asset tracking, where he was instrumental in putting the company in the Top 3 ranking of the industry. While there, he won the Ernst and Young France Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007 and was runner-up for The Tech-Tour European Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Simon also held a number of executive leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, including President of the company's EMEA region, which represented more than $5 billion of Sun's annual revenue.

David Hanacek
EMC vSpecialist Technical Lead EMEA East

David as vSpecialist at EMC is part of the team known as VMware Affinity group to consult, demonstrate and present EMC’s integrations with VMware. David leads the technical vSpecialist team covering EMEA East.

With 12 years experience in the IT industry and 5 years in charge of Eastern Europe as Sr. Systems Engineer and Product Marketing Manager at VMware he knows VMware inside out. David holds a diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management from Munich University of Applied Sciences as well as a diploma from ESC Grenoble, France. David is EMC Proven Professional - EMCISM, VMware VCP, VTSP and VSP certified.
